39 container ships and general cargo handled in Damietta port

The media center of the Damietta Port Authority stated that 39 container ships and general cargo were handled during the past 24 hours.

The center stated – in a statement today, Thursday – that the stock of grain and grain silo for the public sector in the port reached 76 thousand and 627 tons, while its balance in the private sector warehouses reached 190 thousand and 863 tons, while the number of trucks entering and leaving reached 5085 trucks.

He added that the movement of exports of general goods amounted to 24,423 tons, including 8,100 tons of beet fodder, 150 tons of sand, 1,350 tons of urea, and 14,823 tons of miscellaneous goods.

He added that the movement of incoming public goods amounted to 27,921 tons, including 4,349 tons of scrap, 438 tons of food oil, 6,915 tons of iron, 15,225 tons of corn and 364 tons of wheat.
