Hurghada International Airport passes the annual review of “SGS”

Hurghada International Airport succeeded in passing the annual review conducted by the donor, SGS, for the integrated management system IMS, in accordance with the standard specifications of ISO 9001 of 2015 for the quality management system, ISO 14001 of 2015 for the environmental management system and ISO 45001 of 2018 for the occupational health and safety management system. This is in light of the directives of Muhammad Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, to apply the highest quality standards in airport management.

For his part, the pilot, Ahmed Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Airports Company, visited Hurghada International Airport, during which he made an inspection tour of the airport, where he passed the expansion area in the internal travel hall in Terminal 2 and the VIP hall, the Terminal 1 project, the new documents project in Terminal 1, Cameras project in the car inspection area, as well as inspecting the procedures and inspection area to determine the progress of work and workers during travel and arrival procedures.

The pilot, Ahmed Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Airports Company, said that Hurghada International Airport’s achievement of this pass came in light of the company’s keenness on continuous development in various Egyptian airports in order to apply the latest international management systems, to reach the highest quality of services provided to passengers with a commitment to compliance. environmental and raise the level of occupational safety and health; This comes by identifying the challenges and risks in the various activities of the airport and how to control them by following the optimal method, while identifying the available opportunities and ways to exploit them.
