Japan’s industrial output fell 2% last month

Official data showed today, Thursday, that Japan’s industrial output fell by 2% month-on-month last month.

According to data issued by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the industrial output declined on an annual basis during last July by 2.5% after its stability in June.

The ministry also lowered its assessment of the industrial output, saying that it fluctuates continuously, while it expects industrial output to grow during the current month by 2.6% and next month by 2.4%.
