The Bahrain Bourse organized an award ceremony for the participants in the recently concluded third edition of the Capital Markets Professional Training Program, in the presence of Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Bourse.
The Capital Markets Vocational Training Program is a practical training program that aims to provide young Bahraini graduates with practical experience in the capital markets sector.
During the ceremony, eight trainees who completed the training period over a period of six months were honored. The trainees held their final presentations to the CEO of the Bahrain Bourse, who in turn handed them certificates of completion of the program.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer said: “The Capital Markets Vocational Training Program is one of the programs launched recently with the aim of providing trainees with the main practical skills and key skills to enrich their knowledge in the capital sector.. The program comes in support of the Bahrain Bourse’s awareness programs that seek to develop financial culture Which is one of the main axes of the Bahrain Bourse’s strategy aimed at reaching the largest segment of beneficiaries.. We would also like to congratulate the graduates on their achievements and for showing high levels of commitment and diligence during the program period, and we look forward to welcoming the new trainees in the upcoming versions of the program in the future.” .
During the programme, the participants benefited from practical experience by acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the operational processes of the Bahrain Bourse and Bahrain Clear, which qualifies them to work in a range of specializations related to the capital sector.
The program also provided the opportunity for the participants to communicate and interact with key decision makers in the capital market sector through meetings held with senior officials of several listed companies, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
It is worth noting that the Capital Markets Vocational Training Program was launched in 2021 as part of the capacity building initiatives launched by the Bahrain Bourse with the aim of developing the capabilities of Bahraini youth in the capital markets sector.
