The Minister of Housing inspects the electrical transformer station and the development of roads in the new Burj Al Arab

Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, toured the new city of Burj Al-Arab, accompanied by officials of the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the city’s apparatus, to inspect the development and service projects that have been and are being implemented in the city, including the electrical transformer station project, development and upgrading work Roads, central islands.

The Minister of Housing and his entourage inspected the electrical transformer station, which was implemented with a capacity of 370 MVA, and serves the sixth, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth neighborhoods, in addition to strengthening the third and fourth industrial zones and the extension of the fourth industrial zone), bringing the total available electric power In the city, after the implementation of the station, 685 MVA, an increase of 120%.

During his inspection of projects to develop and raise the efficiency of roads and the central islands, the minister stressed the need to pay attention to the work of raising the efficiency of roads, implement them at the highest level, and accelerate implementation rates. From next month, green spaces will be irrigated with treated water.

The Minister of Housing also stressed the need to pay attention to maintenance and cleaning work at the sites of housing units within the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in order to preserve these units in the best way, evaluate the performance of the company responsible for maintenance and cleaning works, and tighten control over them.
