Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, visited this morning a number of projects being implemented in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, in the implementation of which Egyptian contracting companies are participating, during the second day of his visit to Iraq, and within the framework of reviewing the most important projects on the scene in Baghdad, He was accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Al-Assar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors Company, Engineer Muhammad Bakr, Director of the company’s branch in Iraq, Engineer Sameer Bashaqah, Advisor to the Iraqi Minister of Housing, and Engineer Hussein Jassim, Director General of the Roads and Bridges Department.
During his visit to those projects, Dr. Assem El-Jazzar discussed, with Iraqi officials, the possibility of expanding the participation of Egyptian contracting companies and consulting offices in the implementation of various urban development projects in Iraq, given the great and accumulated experience of Egyptian companies and consulting offices, for their participation in the implementation of thousands of projects in various development fields. throughout the Egyptian state.
The Minister of Housing reviewed the technical and executive capabilities of Egyptian contracting companies, citing the Arab Contractors Company as an example, and the similar projects that it implements, whether inside or outside Egypt, technical solutions, and design and implementation alternatives that accelerate the completion rates of such projects.
