Sayed Al-Rawi, head of the company, about the new projects, including the project to raise the production capacity of the company’s units of high-octane gasoline, and the methanator project in cooperation with the Italian companies Enppi, Petrojet and ISG, which was completed in order to contribute to reducing operating costs. And maintenance, as well as the ZLD industrial wastewater treatment project to treat and recycle water for use again in order to preserve water resources and as one of the actual measures for sustainable development and environmental compatibility, in addition to the project that the company is implementing in cooperation with Mitsubishi to exploit surplus hydrogen as fuel for boilers to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and contribute In saving natural gas consumption, and an advanced process control system in cooperation with the American company Aspen Tech to improve operating efficiency, increase production, rationalize consumption and reduce carbon emissions.

During the tour, Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla attended the meeting of the General Assembly to approve the results of the work of the fiscal year 2022/2023, and listened to a presentation by the chemist Salah Jaber, the company’s president in the period of the fiscal year 2022/2023, which included the most prominent performance indicators, which showed the tangible development in the company’s production rates of gasoline High octane during the year within the framework of the ministry’s strategy to meet the needs of the local market, as the company produced high octane gasoline of both types 92 and 95 about 1.9 million tons during the year, an increase of 130 thousand tons over the previous year, which represents about 30% of the total domestic production of this vital product .
