Activities of the Ministry of Labor during the year (infographic)

Today, Monday, the Ministry of Labor issued an “infographic” that monitors in numbers the most prominent activities during the year, on the occasion of one year since the Minister of Labor, Hassan Shehata, assumed the work portfolio, and on this day he took the constitutional oath before President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

Since assuming the work portfolio, the Minister of Labor has been keen to issue direct directives to all employees of the Public Office, central departments, and district directors, to activate and consolidate a culture of trust between the citizen and the ministry, by dealing with credibility in providing services to citizens.

The infograph monitors the role played by the ministry during this year, from August 14, 2022, to August 14, 2023 – in implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in participating in reducing the unemployment rate, providing care and protection for workers for Egyptians abroad, and supporting irregular employment. Integration of people of determination in the labor market, cooperation with development partners at home and abroad to strengthen labor relations, and focus on the file of training young people for professions needed by the market.

The ministry also played a role in Arab and international forums, which was witnessed by the International Labor Organization for the year 2023 by not including Egypt on the list of international observations.
