The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, launched an advertising campaign to promote the Egyptian tourist destination during the English Premier League matches for the 2023-2024 season, whose first matches began on August 12 and will continue until May 19, 2024.
The launch of this campaign comes within the framework of the efforts exerted by the authority to promote the Egyptian tourist destination in the various targeted tourist markets, and attract more incoming tourist traffic, in addition to benefiting from major events and activities to introduce the tourist and archaeological potentials, patterns and various and unique tourism products that the Egyptian tourist destination enjoys. .
For his part, Mr. Amr El-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, indicated that this propaganda campaign includes advertisements for two minutes in each match, and it is broadcast through electronic display screens in the stadiums on which the matches will be held, which are transmitted by specialized English channels to different countries of the world, and he follows them. Millions of English Premier League fans.
He added that these ads will appear to all viewers of the English Premier League matches in all countries of the world, as this league is the most watched among all football tournaments in the world.
Mr. Mohamed Mohsen, the tourist attache at the Egyptian Tourist Office in London and the administrative and financial supervisor of the tourist offices in France and China and its supervisory countries, explained that these advertisements aim to promote the promising Egyptian tourist destinations (Marsa Alam and New Alamein) in addition to promoting the cultural tourism product in Abu Simbel, Aswan Governorate.
