El-Sisi’s directives to study the recommendations of the National Dialogue regarding health insurance top the newspapers’ concerns

In “Akhbar Al-Youm” and under the title “In implementation of the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi… Comprehensive health insurance is studying the recommendations of the national dialogue to accelerate implementation,” the newspaper stated that Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance and head of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, directed the speedy implementation of presidential mandates to conduct an urgent study accurate to the National Dialogue Health Committee’s recommendations for universal health insurance; in a way that contributes to accelerating the pace of application of this advanced system in all governorates; In line with previous presidential directives to compress the timetable for this national project; As a major tool for reforming the health sector in Egypt, and ensuring the sustainable quality of medical services, as it is based on the separation of funding, management, oversight and accreditation, and service provision while stimulating the private medical sector to participate in realizing the dream of all Egyptians by providing comprehensive and integrated health care for all family members.

The newspaper added that the minister said – during his presidency of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance in the Administrative Capital – that the presidential initiative to develop the Egyptian countryside “a decent life” helps us a lot in compressing the timetable for developing health facilities and raising the efficiency of hospitals, primary care units and other infrastructure.

The newspaper quoted the statement of the Ministry of the Interior in the government formed by the military council, saying that: “Given the current security situation and the operational commitment of the armed forces, the Ministry informs national and international non-governmental organizations and United Nations agencies present in Niger to temporarily suspend all activities and movements in the areas of operations.” .

The newspaper added that the French General Staff, for its part, stressed that the army is ready to respond to any new tensions targeting military and diplomatic facilities in Niger.
