Giza Governorate continues to receive applications for 50 vacancies for engineers in various specializations, including jobs in the construction department, architecture, mechanical engineering, road engineering, and others, until September 27.
Jobs required for Giza Governorate
The required jobs are as follows:
First: 25 field engineers (construction department).
Academic qualification: Higher engineering qualification (civil major, construction department).
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Preparing construction drawings and implementing construction projects in a safe manner.
2- Preparing technical studies and feasibility studies for projects and drawing up plans that meet business needs.
3- Preparing periodic reports for the projects being implemented.
4- Implementation of projects in proportion to the available cost and time.
5- The ability to deal with computers and engineering programs according to specialization.
6- Any work assigned to him that is compatible with the nature of his work.
Second: 3 architects
Academic qualification: Higher qualification in engineering (architecture major).
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Preparing architectural drawings and implementing construction projects in a safe manner.
2- Preparing periodic reports for the projects being implemented.
3- Ensuring to provide appropriate solutions in the building, construction and architectural field.
4- Implementation of projects in proportion to the available cost and time.
5- The ability to deal with computers and engineering programs according to specialization.
6- Any work assigned to him that is compatible with the nature of his work.
Third: 2 urban planning engineers
– Academic qualification: Higher qualification in Engineering (Urban Planning)
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Preparing and reviewing draft strategic plans for cities and villages in order to implement them.
2- Preparing organization lines projects and being able to implement them.
3- The ability to deal with computers and engineering programs (AutoCAD / GIS programs).
4- The work assigned to him that is compatible with the nature of his work.
Fourth: 5 electrical engineers
Academic qualification: Higher qualification in engineering (electrical major).
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Proficiency in low and medium voltage networks.
2- The ability to design public administration networks.
3- Designing and reviewing electrical engineering drawings for installations.
4- Proficiency in working on a computer.
Fifth: 7 mechanical engineers, including:
– 4 Automotive Mechanical Engineers
Academic Qualification: An appropriate higher engineering qualification in Automotive Mechanics
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Experience in the field of car maintenance.
2- Proficient in dealing with computers.
– 3 heavy equipment mechanics engineers.
Academic Qualification: A suitable engineering higher qualification in heavy equipment mechanics.
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
2- Proficient in dealing with computers.
Sixth: 2 civil engineers (road major)
Academic qualification: Higher engineering qualification (civil, specializing in roads).
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Designing and implementing road projects assigned to the Department of Road and Bridge Construction.
2- Preparing periodic reports on the status of implemented or ongoing roads, on a regular basis.
3- Preparing measurements for paving or road restoration works.

Seventh: 6 GIS analysts
Academic qualification: High qualification (Bachelor of Information Systems / Faculty of Arts, Department of Geography).
Duties and responsibilities:
1- Responsible for the quality and efficiency of technical and administrative work
2- Studying and analyzing geographical and geological concepts and satellite images.
3- Preparing and drawing various satellite maps.
4- Analyzing, interpreting and linking satellite images to reality.
5- Monitoring urban estates and their developments, and limiting encroachments on them.
6- Entering and updating the different data layers.
7- The ability to deal with computers and geographic information systems programs.
8- What is assigned to him of works that are compatible with the nature of his work.
Conditions for jobs in Giza Governorate
Giza Governorate clarified the general conditions for application as follows:
– The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering in one of the disciplines mentioned above.
– To accept work in any agency affiliated with the governorate that it deems appropriate for the interest of the work.
– To be a resident within the scope of Giza Governorate.
The age of the applicant when submitting the application should not exceed 35 years.
He must have performed military service or higher.
– He should have previous experience of at least 3 years.
– Work on the daily salary system (a wage for work that does not entail a request to confirm or legalize conditions or convert it into a permanent contract or otherwise).
Application for the required jobs starts from 8/27/2024 to 9/27/2023, and applications received by mail or before or after the specified date will not be considered.

8- The person selected shall submit the assets of all the justifications for the appointment that will be requested from him in due time.
9- Applications shall be submitted personally by hand in the name of the Director General of Human Resources in the General Diwan of Giza Governorate (Appointments Department) on the form prepared to be filled out by the Department, accompanied by a recent personal photo 4 x 6.
