Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced, during the meeting of the Supreme Council of Private and Private Universities today, Monday, the minimum limits for enrollment in various scientific disciplines in private and private universities for the new academic year 2023/2024.
It came as follows:
Private universities, new private universities, Nile University, the Egyptian University for e-learning, the French University in Cairo, New Mansoura University, Galala University, with a minimum of 80% for medical faculties, 78% for dentistry, 76% for physiotherapy, 72% for pharmacy, 68% for veterinary medicine, 68% for engineering, and computer science. 62%
The Universities of Galala and Alamein International came with a minimum of 77% for medical colleges, 76% for dentistry, 74% for physiotherapy, 71% for pharmacy, 66% for engineering, and 61% for computer science.
While the minimum came for Sinai University with its two branches, King Salman International University, East Port Said Private University, and New Ismailia Private University.
With a minimum of 75% for medical colleges, 74% for dentistry, 73% for physiotherapy, 70% for pharmacy, 65% for engineering, 60% for computer science, and 66% for veterinary medicine.
The coordination of these faculties came in all private and private universities with a minimum of 55%, faculties (Biotechnology, Health Sciences Technology, Basic Sciences, Applied Arts, Media, Languages and Translation, Economics, Management, Education, Social Sciences, Tourism and Hotels, Law and Law, Nursing, archeology, cinematography)
With regard to students in STEM schools, the percentages of the minimum levels announced also apply to these students, after equating their total using a STEM coefficient of 1.25 multiplied by the student’s total.
Dr. said. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, media advisor and official spokesperson for the Ministry, said that the meeting ended with opening the door for applications for those who have obtained a high school diploma to enroll in various scientific disciplines in private and private universities, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, corresponding to August 15.
The spokesperson added that the application will be through the direct electronic application system for all faculties in private and private universities according to the minimum limits for progress, as the door for admission has been opened for those who have obtained the Egyptian general secondary certificate, with the continued acceptance of holders of Arabic and foreign equivalent certificates according to the minimum level of progress for each of them.
