Officially.. Egypt joins the Global Partnership for Education “GPE”

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Technical Education, appreciated the announcement of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), Egypt’s official accession as a member of this partnership.

Dr. Reda Hegazy confirmed that joining the Global Partnership for Education supports the ministry’s efforts in achieving the goals of developing the educational system and implementing the ministry’s strategic plan (2024-2029).

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) commended the steps led by the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education to commit to developing and implementing the Evidence-Based Education Development Plan.

The partnership also praised the Egyptian Ministry of Education for conducting a comprehensive societal dialogue on the education system, appreciating the Ministry’s commitment to developing a comprehensive strategic plan for the development of education (2024-2029).

The mission of the Global Partnership for Education “GPE” is based on mobilizing global efforts to contribute to providing education and learning for all in an equitable and quality manner by focusing on effective and efficient education systems.

The partnership also aims to develop education by accelerating access, learning outcomes and gender equality through fair, comprehensive and flexible educational systems that keep pace with the successive developments imposed by industrial revolutions, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, had issued Circular No. (31) on 31/8/2023, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to achieve the necessary stability for the families of workers moving to the Administrative Capital.

Transforming students into the authority of directors of directorates

The periodical emphasized that the necessary measures are being taken to facilitate the procedures for transferring students to schools in Badr City and the Administrative Capital, and not to adhere to the prescribed numerical density for the children of workers moving to the Administrative Capital.

The periodic book also indicated that the process of transferring students should be the authority of the directors of educational directorates and departments, without referring to the ministry, and family reunification, stressing that all concerned authorities should implement what was stated in the periodic book.
