Periodic book to facilitate the transfer of students to Badr schools and the Administrative Capital

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued Circular No. (31) on 31/8/2023, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to achieve the necessary stability for the families of workers moving to the Administrative Capital.

The periodical emphasized that the necessary measures are being taken to facilitate the procedures for transferring students to schools in Badr City and the Administrative Capital, and not to adhere to the prescribed numerical density for the children of workers moving to the Administrative Capital.

The periodic book also indicated that the process of transferring students should be the authority of the directors of educational directorates and departments, without referring to the ministry, and for family reunification, stressing that all concerned authorities should implement what was stated in the periodic book.

Today, Thursday, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, held a meeting with the leaders of the Directorate of Education, directors and agents of educational departments, directors of qualitative stages, and general directors of academic subjects, in Matrouh Governorate, at the headquarters of the governorate’s general office. This is to review the executive mechanisms and procedures for developing the educational process, and to check on preparations for the new academic year 2023/2024.

This came in the presence of Major General Yousry Salem, Assistant Minister for the Affairs of the General Authority for Educational Buildings, and Amr Shehata, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate.

At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his happiness at visiting Matrouh Governorate, stressing that Major General Khaled Shuaib spares no effort in providing all means of support to the educational system in the governorate.

For his part, Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, welcomed Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, stressing his pride in this fruitful visit and the efforts made to improve the educational process in the governorate.

Major General Khaled Shuaib confirmed that the governorate is keen to open new schools in the governorate to face student densities, as today the foundation stone of the rural school complex was laid, which includes the Future Generations School from nursery to secondary school and Sama Al-Alam School for basic education for girls, in addition to the opening of the Egyptian-Japanese school, indicating that New schools are scheduled to open during the coming period at the governorate level.
