The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation issued a bulletin with the most important technical recommendations that guava farmers must take into account during the month of August:
The recommendations were as follows:
• In the old lands that are flood-irrigated, irrigation takes place every 7-10 days for modern trees. As for fruit trees, their water needs are greater than modern trees, and they are irrigated every 12-15 days.
• Beware of exposing trees to lack of irrigation water or thirst so as not to affect the final size of the fruits, as a maximum is given.
• Irrigate the amount of water during this period.
