The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets with the Honorary President of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

Today, Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, received at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, Michael Keizer, Honorary President of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, and Erin Tarrio, Cultural Attache at the US Embassy in Cairo, to discuss ways to support joint cultural tourism cooperation between the Ministry and the Center during the coming period.

The meeting was attended by Youmna Al-Bahar, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs and Affairs of the Minister’s Office, Ambassador Khaled Tharwat, Advisor to the Minister for International Relations, and Ghada Ahmed Abdel-Ghani, Specialist in Cultural Affairs at the Cultural Office of the American Embassy in Cairo.

The Minister started the meeting by welcoming Mr. Keizer and his accompanying delegation, wishing him a good stay during his visit to Egypt.

During the meeting, they discussed supporting cooperation relations with regard to the cultural tourism product with an entertainment dimension. Ideas and visions were also exchanged and cooperation mechanisms were discussed to enhance the cultural tourism product and link it to the family tourism product and recreational tourism by organizing several cultural and artistic activities and events for those looking to explore culture and antiquities, which contributes to enriching their tourism experience in Egypt, in addition to introducing them to the different types of Egyptian arts and highlighting The civilized face of Egypt and its tourism promotion.
