The President of Helwan University completes the series of periodic inspection tours to follow up the preparations for the University Youth Week

Dr. El-Sayed Qandil, President of Helwan University, continued his series of periodic inspection tours with the aim of following up on the university’s preparations to receive the thirteenth University and Higher Institutes Youth Week, to be held from 8 to 14 September. These tours come within the framework of the university’s efforts to raise the efficiency of its infrastructure and beautify it. In preparation for receiving the important event that will bring together the youth of universities and higher institutes in Helwan University.

The university president pointed out the importance of this week in promoting communication and cultural exchange between students from different universities and institutes, and stressed the role of student activities in enhancing their various skills and abilities, adding that the university is working in full swing to provide the optimal environment to host this event, and to provide all necessary services to ensure its success. And enriching it with distinguished activities, as the University Youth Week enjoys the sponsorship, interest and support of the Egyptian state, and direct supervision from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Youth and Sports.

This development plan includes the development of the main streets of the university and the green areas around it, as well as irrigation networks, in addition to the central restaurant, playgrounds and all places concerned with hosting the activities of the week.

The activities of the University Youth Week are being organized under the leadership of Dr. Hossam Rifai, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Farouk, Advisor to the President of the University for Student and University Activities, Mr. Hisham Refaat, Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Gad, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare.
