In its fourth meeting, the camp hosted Dr. Ahmed Ragab, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al-Tatawi, Cultural Advisor to the President of the University, Dr. Magdy Omar, Advisor to the President of the University for Student Activities, Student Activities Coordinators, and Students for Egypt participating in the Effective Leadership Camp. .

The series of these meetings comes within the framework of an intellectual project adopted by Cairo University under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of the University, with the aim of developing national awareness as part of developing the Egyptian mind and building a new society based on scientific thinking.

Dr. Ahmed Ragab said, at the outset of his speech, that all disciplines flow into one thing, which is the issue of identity, national awareness, love of the homeland and belonging to it, indicating that a person without history is without a present and without a future, and therefore knowing history is a basic requirement for living in the present and orientalizing the future. .

Dr. Ahmed Ragab explained that knowing the history of the homeland is what distinguishes Egypt from others, especially since the ancient Egyptian civilization began with the first Pharaonic family, which was established by King Mina who unified the two countries, pointing out that the civilization of Egypt had 30 families, starting from the era of the Old Kingdom, and the second family was the beginning of building the pyramids. The Fifth Dynasty witnessed the summit of the development of pyramid construction, which continued until the Tenth Dynasty, then the Middle Kingdom era from the 11th dynasty to the 18th dynasty, which witnessed the inscriptions of tombs and temples, and then came the era of the New Kingdom, which lasted until the 19th dynasty, which represents the era of prosperity and great development. It contains most of the well-known kings, such as Ahmose, Ramesses II, and Tutankhamun.

Dr. Ragab pointed out that international fashion is mostly inspired by the ancient Egyptian life, which still represents a source of inspiration and inspiration for the whole world, stressing that the Egyptian is the grandson of the builders of the pyramids and the oldest craftsmen and textile makers, and the oldest doctors in history emerged from him, as the Egyptian civilization witnessed great progress in Medicine, astronomy, chemistry, engineering and other sciences in addition to the regular army, and thus this civilization represented the beginning of the formation of awareness and societal thought among the Egyptians, which still lives in the Egyptians and their characters, stories and examples, which are due either to their Pharaonic or Islamic origin, reviewing the history of the establishment of many well-known areas inside Egypt And the reasons for naming it, such as the “Bein Al-Sarayat” areas, “Al-Abbasiya”, “Zamalek”, and others.

Dr. Ragab continued that the Egyptian state went through the stage of entering Islam into Egypt at the hands of Amr Ibn Al-Aas, and passed through the stages of the Umayyads, followed by many countries such as the Abbasid, Fatimid, Ayyubid, Mamluk, Ottoman, and Muhammad Ali families, which was accompanied by the presence of many capitals, stressing that Egypt throughout its history did not fall Including only one period, it had a civilization and antiquities, and therefore the Egyptian state possessed a privacy and a cultural heritage that makes it stronger than any civilization, as the civilization of the Egyptian state and its experiences are not the outcome of one day, but it is accumulated and the product of thousands of years and it is for all humanity, so Egypt is the safe area and the landing of civilizations and religions It has no equal on the planet in terms of diversity, which must be reflected in the present and future of Egyptians.

Dr. Ragab added that the major national projects that are currently being built in the Egyptian state represent constructive additions that have an effective role in increasing the income of the Egyptian state, and will make it one of the great and major countries with its resources, management and rational political leadership, stressing that every progress and newness of any country is related to the infrastructure. .

For his part, Dr. Abdullah El-Tatawy, Cultural Adviser to the President of Cairo University, said that the effective leadership camp aims at early preparation of future leaders capable of contributing to shaping the nation’s future, and that the university is following a clear intellectual approach since the issuance of the Document on Culture and Enlightenment in August 2017, referring to the contributions of Dr. Muhammad Al-Khasht in the university’s project to develop the Egyptian mind and build a new person, and launch 5 copies of the Future Leaders Camp, in line with the slogan of each camp according to the requirements of the stage.
Dr. Magdy Omar, advisor to the university president for student activities, said that Egypt can progress in light of the difficult circumstances the whole world is going through at all levels, whether political or economic.

Dr. Magdy Omar praised the initiative launched by Dr. Muhammad El-Khasht, represented by the “Development of the Egyptian Mind” project, from which a new slogan was launched this year, represented by “Developing National Awareness”, which aims to increase students’ ability to think in an effective critical manner and not be limited to listening only. .

Dr. Majdi Omar emphasized that developed countries were not advanced except with open minds and scientific ways of thinking represented in the scientific method, national awareness among citizens, awareness of the surrounding reality, search for information from different sources, taking confidence and daring to build oneself, and understanding the challenges, risks and conspiracies facing Motherland.

Dr. Magdy Omar explained that the first effective leadership camp is one of the most important student activities, and contributes to teaching students many skills, including how to search for information, and how to dialogue, directing students to the need for self-confidence and the ability of the Egyptian state to do the impossible through its people, will and history.
