An Indian businessman pumped an amount exceeding half a billion riyals to invest in the field of dates, palm trees and their derivatives in the city of Buraidah, where he works on the production of date maamoul of all kinds and flavors, and the manufacture of chocolate stuffed with date paste and others, as well as the manufacture of dates with multiple fillings such as tahini filling, nuts and caramel, and dates covered with honey And black seed and cardamom, in addition to exporting dates after being packaged and packaged to more than 35 countries through refrigerated storage places inside the Kingdom.

During his meeting with the investor from India, Mr. Salman Al-Maimani, the Emir of Al-Qassim region and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Buraydah Dates Carnival, Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, stressed the provision of all facilities and services to all investors to advance and develop the dates and palm sector, welcoming all investors from inside and outside the Kingdom to take advantage of all related investment opportunities. This sector and its manufacturing industries, in order to enhance one of the pillars of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

And the Emir of Al-Qassim had announced the formation of a team from the Economic Development Center to facilitate and overcome all the challenges facing investors in a way that contributes to achieving its goals, supporting economic mobility and providing job opportunities for the people of the region.
