The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather for today – God willing – that the opportunity is still ripe for moderate to heavy thunderstorms that will lead to torrential rains accompanied by active winds and showers of hail in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha extending to the heights of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region While the sky is partly cloudy to cloudy, interspersed with rainy thunderclouds accompanied by active winds in parts of the regions of Najran, Tabuk, Medina and the western parts of the Riyadh region, and the weather continues to be hot in parts of the east, northeast and center of the Kingdom, and surface winds that raise dust are active. And dust on parts of the regions of Riyadh, Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Al-Qassim and Hail.
The report indicated that the movement of surface winds over the Red Sea is westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-40 km/h, wave height from one to two meters, and the state of the sea is medium waves, while the movement of surface winds over the Arabian Gulf is northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 10- 25 km/h, wave height from half a meter to a meter, and the sea condition is light waves.
