The potential coach to lead the first Saudi national football team, Italian Roberto Mancini, denied that his name was associated with the leadership of the Falcons with his resignation that he submitted days before leading the Italian national team. He stressed that the decision to leave his position as coach of the Azzurri is a personal one, and that it has nothing to do with the training of the Saudi national team.
It was reported that the Saudi Football Association had reached an agreement with Mancini to lead Al-Akhdar on a 3-year contract, to succeed French Hervé Renard, and that the coach does not mind, in principle, leading the Falcons during the next stage.
