The Mayor of Al-Jouf Region, Eng. Atef bin Muhammad Al-Sharaan, inaugurated in the city of Sakaka a project to improve municipal control in partnership between the public and private sectors to carry out control work for the benefit of the Municipality of the region, as part of the Municipality’s efforts to develop performance and raise the level of commercial establishments’ compliance with regulations and requirements.
The Secretary of the region stated that the value of the project exceeds 15.9 million riyals, and its duration is 5 years, and includes the implementation of 264,420 visits to commercial establishments during the contract period.
Al-Sharaan added that the inspection visits within the project will be carried out with the participation of 25 qualified human cadres, equipped with means of transportation, electronic devices and health bags that enable them to carry out inspections efficiently and accurately, indicating that the project aims to raise the compliance rate in shops and activities related to public health, and the application of standards and regulations that Developed by the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing.
