Launching a new system of e-learning services at King Khalid University

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning, launched a schedule to enable male and female students during the academic year 1445 AH, especially newcomers, to benefit from its e-learning system.

The Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning at the University, Dr. Adel Qahmash, explained that this e-learning system will provide important opportunities for students to benefit from distinguished educational content, indicating that in the context of the quality of courses, the university offers more than 170 developed courses, while more than 30 courses have received the quality seal.

Qahmash confirmed that King Khalid University seeks to develop virtual scientific concepts and experiments through the “Elab” initiative, as this initiative provides more than 300 virtual scientific experiments that help enhance students’ understanding of the scientific concepts they study. Areas of knowledge, as the “ilearnx” initiative witnessed the development of more than 170 distinguished courses, and the number of subscribers reached more than 480 thousand subscribers, and the total number of views reached more than 64 million views. It is noteworthy that King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning, has won many local and international awards in the field of quality e-learning and open educational resources.
