According to data from the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, sheep and goats topped the list of imports with 1.3 billion riyals, while poultry ranked second.

Imports of horses, donkeys and mules imported from all countries recorded a value of 0.92 million riyals, while the value of live animals from cows amounted to 6.65 million riyals, while the value of poultry of the Gallus domesticus species (ducks, geese, roosters, turkeys, guinea fowl) amounted to 25.11 million riyals. . Fresh and chilled meat The authority’s report stated that the value of fresh or chilled bovine meat amounted to 278.55 million riyals, while the value of frozen bovine meat amounted to 383.12 million riyals, and the value of fresh, chilled or frozen lamb or goat meat amounted to 167.77 million riyals, while the value of offal The edible limbs of cows, sheep, goats and horses amounted to 35.67 million riyals.

Imported live fish recorded a value of 1.65 million riyals, while fresh or chilled fish, except for fish fillets and other fish meat, recorded an estimated value of 129.64 million riyals.

The value of frozen fish, except for fillets and other fish meat mentioned in item 0304, coming from all countries, amounted to 85.34 million riyals.
