Tourism income increased to 3 billion and 4 million dinars in 7 months

Ammon – Preliminary data issued by the Central Bank revealed that tourism income grew during July of 2023 by 19.4%, compared to the same month of 2022, to reach 554.5 million dinars ($782.1 million).
As for the first seven months of 2023, the data showed that tourism income increased by 50.1%, recording a value of 3,004.8 million dinars ($4,238.0 million), driven by the increase in the number of tourists, which reached 3,720.2 thousand tourists, with a growth rate of 51.3%.
This came as a result of the increase in the number of overnight tourists to 3,085.1 thousand tourists, with a growth rate of 47.0%, while the number of one-day tourists reached 635.1 thousand tourists, with a growth rate of 76.2%.
