Benfica: Schmidt details the physical condition of Bah, Jurásek, Bernat and Guedes

Roger Schmidt, Benfica coach, previewed this Friday the trip to Vizela’s stronghold (Saturday, 8:30 pm), in a meeting related to the 5th round of the 2023/24 League.

«Alexander Bah is available, he had a physical problem in the squad but he returned, he was observed, we did our recovery work and he trained without limitations during the week. Jurásek, Juan Bernat and Gonçalo Guedes still have some physical problems», the coach began by saying.

The coach of the red team detailed Juan Bernat’s scenario: «Bernat came with a small physical problem from Paris, so we are still recovering him. But everyone is training on the pitch and we have to decide day by day. We have a lot of games ahead of us, we want them to return as quickly as possible, but we are not going to take any risks with the players.”
