Controversy dominates the fate of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah with Liverpool, amid news that he is close to playing in the Saudi Roshen Professional League.
And the Qatari “Al-Kass” channel stated that Salah gave the Jeddah Federation the green light to negotiate with Liverpool, in order to obtain his services this summer.
And press reports indicated that the Jeddah Federation offered Salah 180 million euros for two seasons, in addition to 60 million pounds that Liverpool will receive.
This news comes despite the assurances of Rami Abbas, Mohamed Salah’s agent, that the Egyptian player is continuing with the Reds this season.
Abbas said earlier, through his account on the Twitter website, “Mohamed Salah is committed to his contract with Liverpool.”
Salah’s relationship with his coach in Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, is experiencing a state of tension, especially after he was replaced in the Chelsea match, and the Egyptian player left angrily.
And if Mohamed Salah moves to Al Ittihad Jeddah, he will accompany a group of stars, led by Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Fabinho.
It is noteworthy that the Jeddah Federation is preparing to participate in the Club World Cup and the AFC Champions League during the current season, in addition to defending the Saudi Professional League title.
