The Portuguese under-19 roller hockey team beat Italy 5-1 today in the semi-finals of the European Championship and will now discuss the title with Spain.

There were no surprises today in Seedorf, Switzerland, as the Spanish didn’t give France a chance, whom they beat 7-1.

Against the third strongest continental team, by tradition, Portugal did very well again, especially in the second half, after reaching half-time with 0-0.

At the start of the second half, captain Viti Oliveira finally managed to unlock the transalpine defense, scoring another goal before the final whistle.

Diogo Lemos, Paulo Pereira and Gonçalo Machado scored the other Portuguese goals, with the Italian goal of honor being scored by Liam Bozzetto, when Portugal was already leading 3-0.
